Anime-ZAP! Announces Free Anime Con in 2013

Peoria, Illinois - June 7, 2012 - Anime-ZAP!, a fourth-year anime convention happening in Peoria, Illinois, is excited to announce that Anime-ZAP! 2013 will be free for the first 250 attendees. Anime-ZAP! is also excited to announce that the 2013 convention will be held January 4-6, 2013 at the Four Points by Sheraton in downtown Peoria, Illinois. Anime-ZAP! has expanded from being an instant two-day anime convention to be a three-day convention with over 1,000 attendees converging on central Illinois in January.

"Since the apocalypse is coming, we want to give something fun to everyone who survives," said chairman Ryan Kopf. "Odds are we'll need it."

Attendees can choose their registration price on Anime-ZAP!'s website, ranging from $0.01 to $50. After 250 people have registered for free (one cent), the minimum price will increase to $10. To ensure more individuals get an opportunity to register for free, free registrants are charged $0.01 to register, all of which goes to PayPal, and only 5 free registrations are allowed per PayPal account. If the 2012 apocalypse does happen, organizers have promised that those who do not survive will receive a full refund.

Registration can be found online at http://animezapcon.com/registration

Anime-ZAP! expects to have more events in 2013 than ever, including cosplay contests, two rave dances, over 50+ entertaining panels and events like "Death Note Mafia" and "Dante's Guide To Pick Up Women", a date auction, a formal ball, an exhibit hall filled with dealers and artists, video gaming tournaments, a manga library, anime screenings, lolita fashion demonstrations, ball-jointed doll meetups, tea parties, formal dance lessons, and literally dozens more. A more complete list of planned events can be found at http://animezapcon.com/events

Hotel rooms at the convention will be available for only $90.00 per night for convention attendees.
