BURBANK, Calif. (September 29, 2010) — Warner Bros. Television (WBTV) and Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) are teaming up to take Manhattan, with six series from the Studio — WBTV’s Nikita, V and The Vampire Diaries, along with WBA’s MAD as well as the upcoming Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series — headed to New York Comic Con 2010.

Getting Into the Industry Panels and Events

Hello Everyone!

I compiled a list of activities relating to employment in the industries that will be happening at New York Comic Con and New York Anime Festival. I know there are people out there who wants to join companies like Marvel and DC Comics, but don't know how. Hopefully, the panels I found on the convention website, will provide some guidance or pointers on what employers look for in potential employees.

The first is MANGA FOR GROWN-UPS: GARO, AX, GEKIGA, AND THE ALTERNATIVE MANGA REVOLUTION (Thursday, July 22, 12:30-1:30), featuring Sean Michael Wilson and friends discussing the amazing history of adult-oriented "alternative" manga in Japan and its recent arrival into the English-speaking world, including the debut of our AX anthology.
