SANTA MONICA, CA (September 24, 2012) – Following its Limited Edition Blu-Ray Box Set release last year, Aniplex of America has just announced the product details on the upcoming DVD release of the Garden of sinners. Written by KINOKO NASU of TYPE-MOON (Fate/stay night) and produced by ufotable (Fate/zero), the eight-chapter animated epic originally released in theaters in Japan and instantly became a box office smash. Each movie follows the story of Shiki as she must tackle supernatural incidents with her special abilities while searching for a reason to live. All eight movies will be in a Limited Edition DVD Box Set on November 20th, 2012 and will be available through anime distributor RightStuf.com and official retailers (http://aniplexusa.com/retailers/).

This Limited Edition DVD Box Set features all eight movies in 8 discs, a deluxe 36-page booklet (including an Image Gallery of breathtaking artworks of announcement key visuals, theatrical posters, Japanese video covers and more!), and a set of beautiful 14 postcards illustrated by TAKASHI TAKEUCHI (the original character design) and SUDO TOMONORI (animation director / anime character design). About the Garden of sinners
the Garden of sinners is a series of hit cult novels written by KINOKO NASU of TYPE-MOON (“Tsukihime -Lunar Legend-”, “Fate/stay night”) and published in KODANSHA BOX series. The best-selling novel series has since been adapted into seven fully animated theatrical films, of which each corresponding movie directly covers each of the original seven chapters.
