THQ matches donations raised at WE HEART JAPAN Event, bringing the total raised to over $13,000 (US)
Los Angeles, CA, March 29, 2011 Video game publisher THQ has generously agreed to match the money raised at last week¹s WE HEART JAPAN event to go to the American Red Cross, bringing the grand total raised for victims of the quake and tsunami that night to over $13,000. On March 17th, the WE HEART JAPAN event, held at MELTDOWN COMICS raised over $6,500 for JCIE¹s ³Japan NGO Earthquake Relief and Recovery Fund,² which provides support to local Japanese organizations that are taking part in the relief effort. THQ will be matching that amount in a donation for the American Red Cross. To date, JCIE has already transferred $20,000 to their partners in Japan to be used in the relief efforts there.

Personal Review: The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya
Review by Jong Chung
The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya, the third book in the Haruhi Suzumiya series by Nagaru Tanigawa does something slightly different than what may have been expected. Unlike the previous novels, (or what's expected of typical novel conventions) there isn't just one “arc” to follow in this installment, as this third novel is actually more of a collection of several short stories.

Legal Times: Old and New, FUNimation vs Downloaders
In general, FUNimation sued 1,337 downloaders, who distributed an episode of One Piece. However, Senior United States District Judge Royal Furgeson said that FUNimation had to "file individual, separate lawsuits for each defendant because the accused were not "acting in concert." People, if you love One Piece and do not want the industry to die, just buy the legit products.
