#TBT as #NYCC2018 Approaches Part 2

Continuing with my previous Throwback Thursday posting, please continue to enjoy my observations and thoughts.

No matter how early you wake up to get on line for NYCC, you better be prepared for a lengthy line! At least there were staff members at specific check points to tell you which way to go. Unfortunately, the heat blazing upon all of us! Bring water and try to stay in the shade. Cosplay and sweat isn't compatible.

The most friendly looking security guards. It's always great to see these 4 legged buddies, because their existence helps calms the stressful and full force security environment. I didn't see them on day 1, so I hope to see them all days. :3

I wasn't joking about the full force security, eh? Metal detectors and weapons check. Yes, come early to go through metal detectors and bag checks. If you're cosplaying, make sure you can actually get your prop into the event! Would suck if it gets confiscated. Yes, that did happen and most likely will.

Out of all the booth display, this from Simplicity was the most unique one. It looked like a circus tent AND they had professional acrobats performing! They went all out with their theme. It doesn't have to be this company, but it would be nice to see more unique looking booths. It makes things visually entertaining.

Honestly, the best time in my opinion to take pictures of the displays and booths outside the showfloor...is when the showfloor closes. Most people went home or in the nighttime panels. So this was a great opportunity to explore the lobby area. Definitely, check it out!

Also, I would have missed this humorous sign if I tried taking pictures of the lobby area during the day. FYI-this was on a entrance door. Who would have time to read these, when everyone is bum rushing to get in? Hope to see more funny signs like these!
