San Francisco, CA, February 23, 2012 – VIZ Media, the largest distributor and licensor of anime and manga in the North America, announced today that Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired the live-action feature film rights to the hit manga and anime property BLEACH. The announcement comes after another successful year for BLEACH in print, digital publishing, cable television, streaming video, consumer products and video-on-demand.

Documentary on the Origins of DC Comics

Hey Everyone!

On November 9, 2010, Warner Home Video will be distributing Secret Origin: The Story of DC Comics on DVD for $24.98 (SRP). The documentary will also be available On Demand and for Download.

Written and directed by Mac Carter and narrated by Ryan Reynolds, it explores the history of DC Comics, including the "challenges, creativity and triumphs of the company." The documentary contains segments from comics and television series, and there will be "insight of some of history’s most influential comic book creators and editors."
