Media Report: Super Para Natural Manga Day 2009

The first event of the day was the Bleach the Movie: Memories of Nobody screening at 11am. I did not go, because I already saw it and here is my review of the movie.

Next was the Vampires in Manga Presentation by performance group Alone Together NYC. They did a good job with their small stage production. Old fashion style theatre works. Unfortunately, I do not know what the theatre style or type is called…Sorry!!! Here, they are setting up their props for their performance.

The stage is set and the crowd patiently waits.

The three characters from Vampire Knight: Yuki Cross, Kaname Kuran and Aidou Hanabusa from the Moon Dorm. Yes, he is acting goofy.

Ahhhh a nice cast and crew shoot: Kaito played as Kaname Kuran, Aidou played as Aidou Hanabusa, Susanna played as Yuki, their two "ninjas" were Jin and Arsen and the artwork was by Sandii-chan. Everyone should get recognized.

The crowd is waiting for the 2:00 pm screening of Ghost Hunt. Yes, patience anime fans patience…

Hey look! Who is that? It is Dallas Middaugh, who is the Associate Publisher from Del Rey Manga. He was giving us a short presentation on Del Rey Manga and how they are doing in the industry.

Peter and friend killing time before the next screening. Just cracking jokes and getting the crowd excited about the fun filled day.
